Chateau Laffargue nestles in the foot hills of the Pyrenees, in the South of France, close to both summer & winter outdoor activities. Only 10km away for the Beautiful Spa Town of Luchon, with Spain less than 20km away. Friendly hosts and pet friendly accommodation (on request).
The accommodation offers 5 large double bedrooms and three bathrooms arranged over 3 floors (sleeps +12) There are two comfortable reception rooms on the groundfloor and a beautiful entrance hall that leads to the other floors via a winding staircase.
Chateau Laffargue is surrounded by mature gardens, with a private gated driveway, off road parking and is not overlooked. There is a large dining area that catches the sun all day with additional seating area's that overlook the foothills of the Pyrenees where you can relax with an aperitif before dinner.
The Chateau also has a Hot Tub (wood burning hydro spa 10 person capacity) where you can relax after your activities during the day, both in the summer and the winter.
There is a brick built, wood fired, Pizza Oven/Bread Oven and BBQ for alfresco dinning in the summer months.
There is a large and stylish hallway that has seating and overlooks the gardens.
Each room offer spaceous accommodation, comfort and style. They showcase some unique & original items of art, inspired by the decore in each room. All our rooms can accommodates 2 people plus a cot (if required) and have views, overlooking the gardens.
Each room has the benefit of a comfortable seating area, work area and tea / coffee making facilities.
There is Wi-Fi/Internet available throughout.
This large room offers comfort and style, with several unique items of art, inspired by the Orient, the theme that dominates this room. It accommodates 2 people (but could also include a cot) has views to the front, overlooking the gardens and wooden flooring.

The front entrance to the Chateau is via an impresive marble floored hallway, which provides access to the ground floor spaces and access to the upper floors via a beautiful winding staircase. The tall celings throughout the property provides an open and airy feel that adds to the overall appeal to Chateau Laffargue.
The newly fitted kitchen is large and well appointed with double oven, five ring induction hob, double belfast sink, fridge freezer, microwave, coffee making facilities etc.
The tall celings add to the feeling of modern and old, with painted woodern beams and original metal hanging racks. We love this space and we think you will too.
The kitchen also benefits from an island that provides additional space for storage, food preparation and an informal seating area.
The Kitchen / Dining room is open plan with a large kitchen island designed for informal dinning, the dining area has a large mahogany dining table and chairs, that seats +12 comfortably. When not being used for dinning the table can be rolled over to offer a 3/4 sized snooker table / pool table and is a favourite after dinner activity for our guests.
The sitting room is accessed off the entrance hall and has large wooden doors, double windows to the front and access to the balcony towards the rear. There is plenty of comfortable seating, to enjoy the view of the gardens beyond the large picture windows. The wood burning stove makes this a focual point all year round.
The room also provides a large TV with a wide range of viewing options, gaming table, DVD player and music system (old fasioned gramaphone player)
This room offers accommodation for up to 6 people, a large en-suite room with dressing area. There is a double bed, two single beds on the mezzanine floor and additional sleeping via the double bed settee.
This is a double room that offers original wooden beams and fitted wardrobes.
A further double room with vanity unit and seating area.
The gardens are mature and extend to all sides and are fully enclosed. The drive way is secured by (remote access) gates that lead down to the Chateau.
There is a large dining table, which catches the sun all day long, with a sun canapy if it gets too hot. There is additional seating in other area's of the gradens.
A fully functional wood burning pizza oven is situated to the side of the property with a large BBQ and food preparation area's.
